Privacy
Your email address, if you give it. That's all.
No analytics, no cookies, no tracking pixels, no ad scripts. Here's what does happen, piece by piece.

Reading the site
Reading these pages sets no cookies and runs no analytics. The fonts and scripts come from tachyoncms.com itself, not from anyone else's servers, apart from the signup check described below.
One thing is stored, in your own browser rather than with us: if you switch to the light theme, the site remembers your theme choice in your browser's local storage, so the next page doesn't flash dark. It never leaves your machine. The docs at docs.tachyoncms.com do the same for your theme and for small layout choices, such as which sidebar sections are open.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare handles your IP address and the usual request details to serve each page. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Signing up for email
The signup forms ask for one thing: your email address. Here's what happens to it.
- A check that you're a person. When you start on a form, the page loads Cloudflare Turnstile, and not before. Turnstile looks at signals from your browser to decide you aren't a bot, under Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy addendum. When you submit, our server sends Cloudflare Turnstile's answer and your IP address to confirm it.
- A confirmation email. We send it through Resend, which keeps a record of the emails it sends, as mail services do. The link inside carries your address, signed so nobody else can confirm it for you, and it expires after 48 hours. Until you click it, your address isn't on any list, and our code never writes it to a log.
- Confirmed. Once you click, your address is saved as a contact in Resend, in the one list every signup form joins. We use it only to write when there's a release or news of the admin.
Nothing else goes with it: no name, no location, no record of which pages you read. We don't sell the list or hand it to anyone. Resend holds it for us, and that's all.
Getting off the list
Two ways, whichever is closer to hand. Use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any update we send. Or write to [email protected] from the address you signed up with, and I'll delete it from Resend. That address also works for asking what we hold about you, which is at most your email address and when you confirmed it.
