The code is yours under the MIT License. The name and the logo are how people know what's really TachyonCMS, so they come with a few plain rules.

What's covered
The name TachyonCMS, and the logo and mark you can download from the brand page. The MIT License covers the code. It doesn't cover the name or the logo, which is why this page exists.
For now I look after them. Once TachyonCMS has maintainers from more than one organization, the plan in GOVERNANCE.md is to move the project, its trademark and its domains to a neutral foundation.
Go ahead, no need to ask
- Write, post, talk or teach about TachyonCMS, and use the logo to illustrate it.
- Say your site, plugin, starter or service works with TachyonCMS or is built on it.
- Link to tachyoncms.com or the repository with the logo or the mark.
- Run it, modify it and fork it, for anything, as the MIT License allows.
Please don't
- Name your product, service, company or domain so it looks like TachyonCMS itself: "TachyonCMS Cloud", say, or tachyoncms-hosting.com.
- Suggest the project endorses, sponsors or runs your thing when it doesn't.
- Ship a modified version under the TachyonCMS name. Forks are welcome; give yours a name of its own.
- Change the logo's colours or shape, or blend it into your own logo.
